Pneumatic Modulevel controls are displacement actuated level sensors. They provide output signals in direct proportion to changes in liquid level.

Measurement Principle:
As the buoyancy force on a displacer changes with liquid level movement, a range spring supporting the displacer extends or compresses, moving a magnetic ball. A magnet carriage within the controller head follows the ball producing a change in output.
Features:
Stable output signal is unaffected by surface turbulence
Standard models handle pressures to 294 bar (4265 psi)
Process temps. from -100° to +370° C (-150° to +700° F)
Built-in visual indicator is independent of air supply
Accurate output signal provided over a wide specific gravity range
316 SS (1.4401) displacer and trim
Applications:
Steam generator feedwater heater regulation
Fractionating column level transmitter
Ethanolamine level transmitter
Vent gas scrubber level control
Drip pot condense level control
Flash tank level transmitter
Options:
Pneumatic to current interface transducer for electronic control
