Side-Mounted Float Level Switch

TK1 liquid level switches are float actuated devices designed for horizontal mounting in a tank or process vessel through threaded or flanged connections.

  Measurement Principle:
The buoyancy force of the process liquid on the float causes the float to move with the liquid surface. This movement of the float in turn, causes a magnet to pivot into the proximity of a reed switch, resulting in switch actuation.

  • Process temps. to +300° F (+149° C)
  • Specific gravity as low as 0.40
