The Eclipse Model 705 is a two-wire, loop-powered, 24 VDC liquid level transmitter based on the revolutionary Guided Wave Radar (GWR) technology. The Model 705 can be used with all available coaxial, twin rod and single rod probes. This leading-edge transmitter is designed to provide measurement performance well beyond that of many traditional technologies. Literature
Additional Tools:
Measurement Principle:
Guided Wave Radar is based upon the principle of TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry). Pulses of electromagnetic energy are transmitted down a probe. The pulse is reflected when it reaches a liquid surface.
Features:
Low dielectric measurement capability
Volumetric output
Quick connect/disconnect probe coupling
Operates in visible vapors and ignores most foams
IS, XP, and Non-Incendive approvals
Ignores coating buildup
Applications:
Liquids / Slurries / Solids
Hydrocarbons to water-based media (dielectric 1.4 - 100)
Most process or storage vessels up to 75 feet
Bridles and by-pass chambers
Power industry
Sanitary 3A approved probe for food/beverage industry
